Administer anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist. Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations.

Minimum Education
Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by AANA council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational programs or it predecessor - Required

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) 
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• PALS (Operating Room only)

Licenses:
Current Georgia License

Minimum Work Experience
Prior work as an anesthetist in an acute care setting is preferred
Prior work history with cardiac anesthesia is beneficial
