Medical Instrument Technician (EKG)
This position is a Medical Instrument Technician (MIT) - EKGs within the Cardiology Section of the Loma Linda VA and is under the direct supervision of the Supervisory MIT. The section receives operational guidance from the Director of the Exercise Laboratory, and Section Chief. The MIT performs Exercise Tolerance Testing (ETT) procedures, Nuclear Stress test procedures, Electrocardiogram (EKG), Holter and Event Monitoring procedures with back-up for other MIT functions in Cardiology, as needed. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
