IU Health Physicians has a supplemental opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join their growing Pulmonary Critical Care team in Indianapolis, IN

Opportunity Details

• PRN for coverage as needed, based upon availability 
• Day shift (12-hour shifts)
• No Call
• 100% inpatient
• Coverage at IU Health North, West, and Methodist Hospital
• APP will work directly with 10 MDs and 16 APPs
• Patient population includes critically ill medical and surgical patients

Key responsibilities

• Cross cover for ICU, New admissions & respond to Code Blue and RRT calls.
• Procedures include intubations, central and arterial line insertion, and chest tube insertions.

Qualifications

• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification required
• Previous ICU experienced required
• CCRN certification required
• 5 years of clinical experienced required
